Wild Yeast Sourdough Masterclass in Chelmsford
Sourdough is the trendy healthy bread of the moment, but in reality all risen breads were sourdough or naturally leavened, so sourdough has in fact been around for thousands of years.
In this fascinating workshop we will demystify what appears to be a complicated process and show you how easy it is to make this delicious and fully nutritious bread.
After a short introduction, we will all get our hands on mixing some classic and flavoured sourdough bakes including breads, crackers and more.
You will be able to bring your own starter where we can assess its strength. We will be working with two different sourdough starters during this workshop.
This "Wild Yeast Sourdough Masterclass" will be run in our beautiful 17th century, timber framed Chelmsford branch. What a beautiful combination, an old historical building witnessing new age bakers mastering traditional sourdough!

This is an all day workshop starting at 10am and finishing around 6pm. A light breakfast including hot drinks to start the day , lunch, prepared by our chef in house Jose, cakes prepared by our bakery creators and locally sourced glass of wine , Flour and Spoon goodie bag and of course all your baked goodies (in total 5x different bakes) to take with you and share with your loved ones!
